Courtney Bolin Nash is an Associate Attorney with the San Diego Elder Law Center. Courtney enjoys assisting clients find peace of mind in formalizing their personal care and estate planning wishes. With a helping nature, she also finds purpose in easing the burden of a loved one’s passing through efficient trust administration and probate proceedings.

Courtney’s background is in public interest work. Prior to private practice, she ran the Legal Aid Society of San Diego's Conservatorship Clinic, which assisted thousands of San Diegans in navigating the complexities of conservatorship each year. Courtney also designed and ran educational sessions and workshops to bring the benefits of estate planning to all San Diegans. Courtney began her legal career as an Equal Justice Works Fellow focusing on immigration relief for abused children and victims of crime. She also worked in public benefits with Legal Aid.

Courtney is a graduate of the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and Order of the Coif. She was awarded Outstanding Public Interest Advocate, Outstanding Prosecution Intern, and successfully competed with the Mock Trial Team while at USD. Courtney completed her undergraduate degree in Anthropology with Honors at the University of California, Berkeley.

Courtney is admitted to practice law in California and holds memberships in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Southern California Chapter of NAELA, the San Diego County Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Elder Law Sections, and the Probate Attorneys of San Diego (PASD). She also serves on the board of the San Diego Planning Partnership (SDPP), a non-profit organization aimed at educating the community about the importance of estate and long-term care planning.

As a mother of three, Courtney has little spare time, but when she can, she explores San Diego County with her family, goes for a run, fits in a Pilates class, does her best to cook a gourmet meal, or reads an inspiring novel.
